Parking Expands In West Hartford At Town Hall, LaSalle Locations
More parking options are being offered in the center of West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Parking is expanding in West Hartford with the town hall lot coming back into service and the spaces at 102 LaSalle Road being offered as an option.
Local officials said the town hall lot will be back open Wednesday. The parking lot will be "managed" by license plate, similar to all other town-run pay parking facilities, officials said. Signs will be "clearly displayed" at both town hall lot entrances — South Main Street and Raymond Road — and motorists will be able to "enter and exit the lot freely without the impediment of gates as barriers," officials said.
Those not conducting business at town hall will be able to park in the lot for the regular fees by registering their plates using the town's mobile app, officials said. The Town accepts two mobile payment services — Flowbird and Passport with the parking lot identified as ZONE 475. That same zone number applies to the town-operated surface lots west of South Main Street.

The town hall lot will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to to 2 a.m. the next day; and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. the next day.
Officials said residents and visitors conducting business inside town hall can validate parking with the information desk in the lobby – and fees will be exempt. Visitors will be asked to provide their license plate to register for authorization to park in the parking lot. The process is similar to that at the Noah Webster Library.

The town is introducing the lot at 102 LaSalle Rd as the latest option for public parking after recently signing a licensing agreement with L. Udolf LaSalle LLC to manage the parking lot.
The LaSalle lot will be available for the public to park after business hours on weekdays and on weekends.
"With outdoor dining and pickup/delivery services occupying many parking spaces in the center, the property owner is pleased to be able to provide additional parking availability to support patrons, visitors and local businesses," municipal officials said.
The 102 LaSalle parking lot will be managed by license plate, identified as ZONE 102. Town officials said consumers can register their license plates by using Flowbird or Passport.
The West Hartford Parking Division is working through some final details with the property owner before putting the lot in service and signs will be displayed to inform motorists of zone number and hours of operation for public parking, officials said.
