Residents get high-end amenities like a pool, gym, golf simulator, and co-working spaces, all steps from Whole Foods, Blue Back Square, and the Trout Brook Trail.
   

2. West Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals Denies Appeal of Pheasant Hill Drive Airbnb Owners - We-Ha (we-ha.com) — West Hartford's Zoning Board of Appeals has unanimously upheld a zoning enforcement order against the short-term rental at 39 Pheasant Hill Drive, ruling the Airbnb use violates single-family residential rules. The decision could affect how similar rentals operate near Duffy Elementary and Rockledge Golf Course, though the owners may still appeal in court, which would temporarily allow rentals to continue.
   

3. Tina Kiniry Management to Present 'THE LOOK' Fashion Event - We-Ha (we-ha.com) — A West Hartford-based modeling and acting agency is organizing "THE LOOK" fashion event and breast cancer research fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 11, at the New England Air Museum in Windsor Locks. Local models, independent designers, and top scouting agencies will participate, with part of every ticket supporting the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative's research work in the state.
   

4. From runner to cyclist: How injury opened up a new chapter for West Hartford athlete (nbcconnecticut.com) — West Hartford native Gavin Sherry, a record-setting Conard High School runner, has reinvented himself as a rising competitive cyclist after a stress fracture derailed his collegiate running career at Stanford. His rapid transition to elite cycling has already taken him to major races in Europe, and he's now preparing to compete in the U-23 World Championships in Montreal.
