The February 13 World Affairs discussion will focus on the personal stories of refugees and migrants attempting to reach asylum in Europe. The free public forum will be held at Duncaster from 10:00 to noon.
It is open to the public with preregistration.
Recent years have seen overwhelming numbers of refugees and migrants attempting to reach asylum in Europe. Almost 400,000 refugees made the journey to Europe in 2016. Kicking off the discussion will be a FRONTLINE program which features the harrowing personal stories of a number of refugees and migrants attempting to enter Europe.

The discussion is part of Duncaster’s World Affairs Series, which is presented to the community by the residents of Duncaster on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month. Participants include Duncaster residents, as well as local citizens.
