Popular West Hartford Farm Market Returns For The Season This Weekend

The Blue Back Farmers' Market opens in West Hartford with local food vendors, live music, and free activities.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Blue Back Farmers' Market will return for its 2026 season on Sunday, June 14, bringing local produce, specialty foods, live music, and family-friendly activities to downtown West Hartford.

The market will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Sunday in the West Hartford Town Hall parking lot and will continue through the end of October.

Organizers expect more than 15 vendors each week, offering locally grown produce and a variety of specialty products.

Featured vendors include Olmo bagels from New Haven, Clatter Ridge Farm free-range meats, Yalla Organic products and Coffeeology.

Opening day activities will include a food demonstration by Chef Giai of the Delamar Hotel, ceramic demonstrations by Junkpot Studios, free chair massages from Nurturing Hands and live music by Tomaca.

Additional June events include appearances by Playhouse on Park and Playhouse Academy on June 21, as well as a children's art table and live music by Dr. Uke.

On June 28, Connecticut Explored magazine will host activities tied to the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, accompanied by music from Morgan Chambers.

Market organizers said the weekly event is designed to offer both shopping and entertainment, with free music and community activities throughout the season.
