WEST HARTFORD, CT — Town officials have been monitoring power outages across town in the wake of the overnight storm Thursday, and report 91 homes remain without power as of 4:17 Friday.

Eversource Energy said the rate of restoration is picking up and the utility company is restoring the smaller outages faster. Eversource expects all power will be restored by 6 a.m. Saturday, and is optimistic it will be sooner, according to a statement released late Friday afternoon from the town manager's office.
