Prepare To Evacuate At West Hartford Workshop
Emergency officials will be at the Noah Webster Library Wednesday to teach folks how to make emergency 'go' bags in case of an evacuation.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — As Florida learned recently, along with other residents of southern states, it's never too early to be prepared to evacuate should an emergency (like a hurricane) arise.
On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District, West Hartford Fire Department, and West Hartford Emergency Management Department will host a public training session from 3 to 5 p.m. at the West Hartford Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St., West Hartford.
There, officials will conduct a special emergency preparedness workshop where one resident will win a raffle for a complete emergency preparedness "go bag."
