Principals at West Hartford High Schools Condemn Racist Taunts Between Rivals
Back-and-forth racist and anti-Semitic taunts reportedly took place at a recent soccer game and a swastika was found at Hall.

In a joint effort, the principals of Conard and Hall high schools in West Hartford sent letters home to parents regarding recent incidents involving racist and anti-Semitic taunts between the cross-town rivals, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports that the principals said that the schools are “too good and our students work too hard to be marred by the actions of a select few.”
The back-and-forth inappropriate taunts took place during a soccer game Tuesday at Hall.

In another incident at Hall, a “small 3 inch swastika was found written in green marker on the back wall of a classroom,” according to the Hartford Courant.
The principals said that “both instances will not be tolerated and have no place in our schools and community,” according to the Courant.
