Pursuit Of Vehicle Wanted In Homicide Begins In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The pursuit Friday of a vehicle sought by state authorities in a homicide case began in West Hartford, then sped through Hartford, where it rammed several police vehicles before being located in East Hartford, police said.

The case began Friday, when members of the West Hartford Police Community Support Unit were assisting the state police Major Crimes Division in relation to a "major crimes investigation," West Hartford police said.

A vehicle that was wanted in connection with a homicide was observed by the investigators. The vehicle briefly traveled through West Hartford, then state troopers attempted to stop it Hartford, according to an incident report. It rammed several police vehicles before fleeing the area, according to the report.

There were no reported injuries and the vehicle was later located in East Hartford, according to an incident report.
