Registration Opens for Spring 2018 Presidents’ College Courses

The University of Hartford's Presidents' College is a non-credit program, offering short courses taught by faculty and visiting lecturers.

Registration is now open for spring courses and lectures sponsored by the University of Hartford’s Presidents’ College, a non-credit program that offers short courses throughout the year for adults, taught by University of Hartford faculty and visiting lecturers. Courses begin January 25 and include topics such as art, literature, politics and government, science, and technology. Registration is available online only at hartford.edu/presidentscollege.

Presidents’ College courses include The Emergence of Britain: Politics, Religion, and the Arts 1600-50, with University of Hartford President Emeritus Humphrey Tonkin, Mondays, Feb. 5 through March 5; and Baseball and the American Mind, with University of Hartford President Emeritus Walter Harrison, Thursdays, March 15 through April 5.

The Presidents’ College also offers a Lecture Series at the Duncaster Retirement Community in Bloomfield, and the McAuley Retirement Community in West Hartford.

Tuition and fees for Presidents' College courses and lectures vary from $15 to $120, depending on topic and frequency. Attendees can sign up as a Presidents’ College Fellow for an annual fee of $100, which provides significant discounts on all Presidents’ College events, courses, and lectures.
