Search Continues For Vehicle In Deadly Hit-And-Run: West Hartford PD
The West Hartford Police Department issued another call for help while investigating the December 2022 incident.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police Friday issued yet another request for information as they continue to search for the vehicle believed responsible for the hit-and-run death of an elderly woman late last year.
The West Hartford Police Department issued another bulletin on the investigation, which stems from a fatal motor vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision on Dec. 20, 2022.

"A possible motor vehicle of interest may include a 2010-2015 GMC type vehicle, which may have been involved," wrote the WHPD Friday.
"The fleeing vehicle likely sustained damage to the front driver side grille and bumper area."
The incident was one of many last December that, ultimately, claimed the lives of five people on West Hartford roads, including three on Christmas Day.
This prompted the town to act fast and dedicate resources toward promoting and enforcing traffic safety in town.
