
West Hartford – Saint Brigid School (SBS) is proud to announce 12 of their junior high school students achieved high honors, honors, or an honorable mention for the first quarter academic marking period of 2013.
High honors recipients are: Nicole Mealha eighth-grade and her sibling Dominick Mealha sixth-grade, both of Hartford; and Dylan Errico, seventh-grade of West Hartford.
Honors recipients are: Lucy Min, eighth-grade of Simsbury; Eric West, seventh-grade of West Hartford; and Joshua Grajales, sixth-grade of West Hartford.

The following students received honorable mentions: eighth-graders Mia Giraud and Abbey Obeng of Hartford; seventh-grader Kiana Woods of Bloomfield; sixth-graders Chloe Lerch and Nathan Rinaldi of West Hartford; and Tavian Montanez of New Britain.
“All of these students exemplify Saint Brigid School’s commitment to academic excellence. They have worked very hard and the recognition are well deserved. I am sure their parents are very proud of them,” stated Principal Shevon Hickey as she beamed with pride.

Hickey went on to say, “These students have set the bar of academic excellence high for themselves. As a result of their hard work and dedication, I am sure that other students will follow their lead and strive for honors as well.”
