St. Brigid Students Enjoy Their Edible Christmas Artwork

Saint Brigid School students kicked-off the holiday season by munching on Christmas artwork they made themselves. To celebrate the holiday season, pre- kindergarten through third-grade students made edible Christmas treats with help from their teachers.

These tasty morsels were made out of rice crispies and yummy marshmallows and then carefully shaped into gingerbread men and Christmas trees. Each student decorated their edible artwork with a variety of peppermints, candy canes, chocolate Hershey Kisses, and M & M candies.

Pre- kindergarten teacher, Debra Dunn, organized this edible interactive holiday activity with the support of her teaching colleagues: Chris Pettit and Betty Oakes.

Smiling at the students Dunn stated, “It was something fun and relaxing for the students to do. They enjoyed every single bite their artwork, too! This was the perfect way to start their Christmas vacation.”  Sitting together at a table in the cafeteria, third-grade students Shaun Martin, Justice Mills, and Brian Hernandez licked their lips and fingers in agreement.
