Storm Closes Key West Hartford Roadway
The West Hartford Police Department is urging motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A key roadway in town is closed Thursday morning following the overnight band of severe thunderstorms and heavy rain.
The West Hartford Police Department said Mountain Road between Apple Hill Road and Walker Lane was closed to traffic both ways due to downed wires.
Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes to the area.

"Please avoid any area with downed trees or wires, and notify WHPD of hazardous conditions," wrote the WHPD.
