Survey Seeks Diversity Input For West Hartford Community

An initiative called 'Building a Welcoming Community One Book at a Time' seeks online survey participants in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — So, just how diverse is West Hartford?

According to the West Hartford Public Library, the town's citizenry can boast of more than 65 identified nations of origin and 70 different languages spoken in local schools.

Which is why the library system and the West Hartford Office of Equity Advancement want a little public feedback from all cultures to find out how its program offerings can reach out to all.

It has created an online survey for folks to address all sorts of questions both offices have.

"The West Hartford Public Library and the Office of Equity Advancement invite you to share your ideas for community-building activities that would be of interest to you and your family by completing our survey," wrote the Town of West Hartford.
