Silver Alert Canceled For Missing West Hartford Teen

UPDATE: In an update on Saturday morning, police said the Silver Alert has been canceled and the missing person was home with her parents.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating a missing 15-year-old from Colton Road. Shelby Hodgson was reported missing by her mother on Nov. 29 at 5:25 p.m., according to police.

A Silver Alert was issued for Hodgson on Wednesday night based on a medical condition, according to police. Hodgson is described by police as a white female with blue/green eyes and brown hair that is dyed half blonde. She is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing black leggings, pink sneakers, and may have a Nike backpack with her.

There were reports that Shelby was seen in West Hartford Center on Wednesday night, according to police.
