The Hartt School Community Division presents Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker
The Magical Holiday Tradition Returns to the University of Hartford

The Hartt School Community Division’s (HCD) annual tradition of The Nutcracker ballet continues in December at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford. Tchaikovsky’s glorious score provides the backdrop for this full-length, family-friendly holiday production. The magical story of Clara, her Nutcracker Prince, and the Sugar Plum Fairy is beautifully staged and performed by the HCD dance department.

Since the premiere of the full-length production in 2011, this annual presentation has become a cherished holiday tradition in the Greater Hartford area and features an ever-growing cast of HCD’s talented ballet students. Each year, new additions to the production, including choreography, sets and costumes, enrich the experience for all involved.
