Transformer Fire Causes Traffic Mess In West Hartford
As a result of the blaze Thursday morning, the lights at one busy intersection are out, causing traffic woes.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A transformer fire in town has caused some traffic issues, with a traffic light now off.
According to the West Hartford Police Department Thursday morning, the fire happened at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Highland Street.
While the fire is now out, so are the traffic lights at the intersection, the WHPD reported.

Eversource Energy is on the scene, but motorists are urged to use caution traveling in that area and to seek alternate routes if possible.
