Truck Crashes Onto Power Lines In West Hartford

The crash occurred early Thursday morning.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A pickup truck became suspended in the air on power lines after a crash early Thursday morning in West Hartford, according to fire officials.

“Just after 1 a.m. this morning members of Group 4 on Engine 5, responded to a motor vehicle crash with wires down,” the Professional Fire Fighters of West Hartford-IAFF Local 1241 union wrote in a post on Facebook. “On arrival crews found a truck suspended in the air and a utility pole down with power lines across the road way. Engine 5 assisted West Hartford Police with shutting down the road, while waiting for Eversource. No injuries were reported.”
