UHart To Go Bananas Over Comedy Baseball Team Owner

The founder and owner of the beloved traveling comedy baseball will speak at UHart as part of a university lecture series Tuesday, March 5.

WEST HARTFORD/HARTFORD, CT — The man behind the "Greatest Show in Baseball" is coming to the University of Hartford, which is located in West Hartford, Hartford and Bloomfield.

Jesse Cole, founder of Fans First Entertainment and owner of the Savannah Bananas, will be speaking at UHart as a part of the Rogow Distinguished Lecturer Series.

His talk is on Tuesday, March 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the Chase Arena, 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford.

"If you've heard of the Savannah Bananas, you're likely already aware that Cole is no stranger to standing out, always clad in his yellow top hat and tuxedo," reads an event announcement.

"The Bananas have recently taken the world by storm, selling out games across the country (including our own Dunkin' Park) and knocking their marketing game out of the park with off-the-wall videos and on-point branding."

Cole's lecture is entitled "Stop Standing Still, Start Standing Out."
