Virtual Forum On Home Solar/Battery Power Slated In WeHa

Clean energy for homes is the topic of a webinar conducted by the Connecticut Green Bank on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A virtual forum Thursday night (Feb. 22) is slated to educate residents about having a clean energy system in their homes.

The Town of West Hartford is currently engaged in a special “Solar + Storage” program to educate homeowners about the benefits of having a battery backup system to power their homes.

The campaign is supported by the nationally known non-profit organization called SmartPower, and is locally known as PowerSmart West Hartford.

The battery “Storage” part of this program will be the subject of a webinar conducted by the Connecticut Green Bank on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This presentation will focus on recent changes to the Energy Storage Solutions program, including higher upfront financial incentives and a broader array of eligible equipment.
