West Hartford Cops Investigating Reports Of Gunshots

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Police in West Hartford are investigating reports of shots being fired Tuesday night.

The call came in just after 9 p.m. Police said they were told the shots were fired in the area of New Britain Avenue and Hillcrest Avenue.

Officers located an unoccupied vehicle in the area that had sustained damage consistent with it being struck by gunfire, a department spokesman said.

Police have no suspects and no victims were located, he added.

West Hartford detectives went to the scene and are investigating the case.
