Girl Missing Since Thursday Found: West Hartford Police
The girl disappeared Thursday after reportedly telling her family she'd be back in 15 minutes, police said.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A 16-year-old West Hartford girl who disappeared Thursday after reportedly telling her family she'd be back in 15 minutes has been found, local police said.
The West Hartford Police Department issued a bulletin Saturday that they're looking for the teenager, who was last seen leaving her home at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night.
"Although she told her parents that she would be back in 15 minutes, (she) never returned home," wrote the WHPD in a 10:41 a.m. alert Saturday.

A Silver Alert notifying the public of her disappearance was issued Thursday and the girl was placed in a national database for missing persons, police said.
Police said they were concerned the girl was not taking necessary medication prescribed to her.

At 6:45 p.m. Saturday, the WHPD updated their earlier bulletin with good news.
"As a result of diligent investigative efforts, (the teenager) has been located and is being reunited with her family," wrote the EHPD.
"Thank you to our partners in traditional media and thank you to everyone on social media for sharing this story."
