West Hartford K-9 Unit Featured On TV Show

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Retired West Hartford K-9 Jett and Sgt. Tom Lazure were featured on the daytime talk show Pickler & Ben this week. Pickler & Ben, which is taped in Nashville, Tennessee, is hosted by country music star and former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler and Emmy-winning TV personality Ben Aaron. It is produced by Grammy Award winner Faith Hill.

Lazure and Jett were on the show to talk about Jett’s accomplishments throughout his career. Watch their segment at the end of this article.

“The producers of the show wanted to honor first responders and learned of Sgt. Lazure and Jett's accomplishments during their career together,” West Hartford Police wrote in a post on Facebook. “The producers covered the entire cost of Sgt. Lazure and Jett's trip to Nashville to highlight the important work first responders do on a daily basis. WHPD is very proud of our officers and the job Sgt. Lazure and Jett did on the show which aired earlier this week.”
