West Hartford Library To Prep Students/Families For College

All through April, the West Hartford Public Library is hosting a program series on applying for, choosing, and paying for college.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Public Library is providing area high school students and their families with vital information as they look to go to college.

Starting next week, the library is hosting "Get Ready For College: A Series of Prep Classes."

These events — both virtual and in-person — are free to attend, but registration is required.

They are designed to help high school students and their families navigate the often complicated process of preparing for, applying for, and choosing a college after high school graduation.

Hosting the programs are educators, experts, and consultants in the field who will offer expert advice on the process.

The following is the library's schedule for the college prep classes:

Wednesday, April 3, "Tips for Success on the New Digital SAT: Reading and Writing Section," 6 to 7 p.m., Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St.

Thursday, April 4, " Finding the Right College for You," 6 to 7 p.m., Virtually.

Tuesday, April 16, "College Prep By Design: Dream It. Achieve It. Your Path to the Top 5 Percent on SAT," 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., ," 6 to 7 p.m., Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St.\\
