Update: Silver Alert Lifted for 14-year-old Boy

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A 14-year-old West Hartford teen male had gone missing and local police were looking for him, according to a Silver Alert issued Sunday morning.

But as of 10:03 a.m. Sunday, police said the Silver Alert was lifted.

According to the initial alert, issued at 6:48 a.m., West Hartford police were looking for Kyon Cannon, 14, who was described as being a Black male with black hair and brown eyes.

He stands 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, according to police, who had described Cannon as an "endangered runaway."

Cannon had gone missing Saturday.
