West Hartford Police Arrest Two Suspected Burglars Within Two Hours: Report
Police said they arrested two suspects on separate burglary charges.

WEST HARTFORD, CT – Police said they found two suspected thieves within about two hours due to alert residents calling in suspicious activity.
Hartford residents Javon Reynolds, 33, and Jeffery Barnes, 53, were arrested separately on burglary charges, according to a release.
Police were first dispatched to Goodsell Street due to reports of an activated silent house alarm and a suspicious person leaving the area on a bicycle. The person was wearing black pants and a reflective vest, and carrying a black backpack.

Officers later found the screen in the rear of the house had been pushed in. The suspect, later identified as Barnes, was found in the vest and wearing a hardhat on New Park Avenue, and was arrested after being identified by the witness.
He was charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief, trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools.

Police later received a call about a man on Park Road attempting to break into several cars in the area. A resident reported seeing a man get into a vehicle on Thomas Street, and then get into another one.
Officers found the suspect, who was later identified as Reynolds. He was charged with two counts of third degree burglary.
