West Hartford Police Seek Man Suspected of Robbing Store Clerk at Knifepoint

WEST HARTFORD, CT - West Hartford police are seeking a man suspected of robbing a store clerk at knifepoint.

Police said the man had entered the Farmington Avenue Shell gas station close to 4 a.m. on Tuesday brandishing a knife. The suspect then robbed the clerk and took off with the cash drawer, according to a release.

Police said the clerk had bruising on his neck as a result of the incident. Police said the suspect was armed with a hunting or long folding knife that was held in the right hand.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male. He was wearing a light blue colored hooded jacket (shiny, light weight, thigh length), black gloves with white designs on top of the wrists, black pants, black sneakers and a dark ski mask with a white design on it.
