West Hartford Police Seeking Witnesses To Car-Motorcycle Crash

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford police are looking for witnesses to a Friday evening crash involving a car and motorcycle.

The crash took place at at 5:59 p.m. in the area of Trout Brook Drive and Lawler Road, police said.

Police received several emergency calls reporting the accident.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 61-year-old man in the road, according to an accident report. Police began medical treatment until crews from the West Hartford Fire Department and AMR ambulance personnel arrived at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital was listed in critical condition.

The sole occupant of the car was not injured, according to a report.

Trout Brook Drive was closed for some time between Albany and Asylum Avenues.
