West Hartford Seeks Resident Input On Age-Friendly Survey Results

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford residents are being invited to weigh in on the results of the town's Age-Friendly Community survey during a series of public workshops beginning this week.

The first AARP Community Workshop will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Bishops Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road.

Two additional sessions are planned: Thursday, Oct. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Elmwood Community Center auditorium, 1106 New Britain Ave., and Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St.

The workshops will include breakout sessions where residents can discuss the survey findings and provide feedback about what they need to thrive in West Hartford at any age.

Town officials said the sessions are intended to gather additional community input as part of West Hartford's Age-Friendly Community Initiative.

Registration is encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted.
