West Hartford Teams Vying for Field Hockey Titles

Fourteen field hockey teams from high schools in Patch towns throughout Hartford and Tolland counties will be vying for one of three state championships beginning early next week.

Hall is seeded 12th in Class L, and will travel to No. 5 Darien in the first round. Conard, seeded 18th in L, visits No. 15 Ridgefield for a qualifying game Monday.

In Class S, 16th-seeded Northwest Catholic hosts a qualifying game Monday against No. 17 Old Saybrook.

Here are the opening round matchups for area schools. Qualifying games will be played Monday, Nov. 6, and all first-round matches in Classes M and S will be played Tuesday, Nov. 7. Class L first-round action will be played Wednesday, Nov. 8. Click the class header for the complete bracket.
