WH Woman Charged In Death Of Pedestrian Last June
A vehicle struck and killed a 61-year-old man in West Hartford June 3.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A 68-year-old local woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident last June.
According to the West Hartford Police Department Thursday, Claudia Stetson of West Hartford turned herself into the WHPD after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
She has been charged with: misconduct with a motor vehicle; failure to drive right; and reckless driving.

Stetson posted a $50,000 bond and was released prior to appearing in Hartford Superior Court Dec. 1.
Her arrest stems from an incident that happened last June 3.Police said that's when, at 10:08 a.m., WHPD officers responded to a reported pedestrian-versus-motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Main Street and Farmington Avenue.

In that incident, a male pedestrian — Bob Oneal, 61 — died as a result of the collision with a vehicle.
The warrant for Stetson's arrest came after a "thorough investigation by the West Hartford Police Department Traffic Division/Accident Reconstruction Team," police said.
