The decision was announced at Wednesday night's special meeting of the Regional School District 13 Board of Education.
Gustafson, who also taught English at Hall High School for 21 years prior to serving as assistant principal at King Philip, was hired to replace Brian Bodner, who left the regional school district earlier this summer for a similar position in Madison.
