Woman Climbs Mount Everest For Eighth Time, To Be Hosted By West Hartford Library
A West Hartford resident who recently made her eighth ascent atop Mount Everest will give a presentation at a local library.
WEST HARTFORD, CT - West Hartford resident Lhakpa Sherpa recently made her eighth ascent atop Mount Everest. In celebration of this, the West Hartford Library will host Sherpa at their 20 South Main Street location July 18 at 7 p.m.
Patrons will go on a photographic and video/graphic journey of Ms. Sherpa’s travels during the event, according to a release. (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
To register for this event, please call the library Reference Desk at 860-561-6990 or visit the library website. After parking in the garage, come directly to the library for validation in the meeting room.
