4-Time Bronze Star Medal Recipient to Present "Leading Across the Generations"

Eric Lopez, Founder and CEO of Arrowhead Leadership Consulting and a four-time Bronze Star Medal recipient, will be delivering a high-impact session, "Leading Across the Generations," at the Amity Chamber of Commerce Business Symposium & Expo, July 22nd, Yale West Campus, 100 West Campus Drive, Orange. The free program is open to the public and includes the symposium, which begins promptly at 3:30 pm, followed by an expo from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

As Gen Z rapidly reshapes the workforce, many organizations experience increased friction, shifting expectations, and a growing disconnect across teams. Lopez will challenge common assumptions about younger leaders and reveal what drives performance, engagement, and accountability across generations. Participants will leave with clear, practical strategies to lead without compromise—strengthening alignment, elevating standards, and unlocking the full potential of every generation in your organization.

Colonel (Retired) Lopez graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as an infantry officer for 25 years. Lopez's distinguished military career encompasses seven combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, including commanding a company and a battalion in Afghanistan and serving as a battalion and brigade operations officer in Iraq. Lopez’s final command assignment was serving as the brigade commander for the US Army 3^rd Recruiting Brigade, where he led over 2,000 soldiers and civilians across all or part of 16 Midwest states. In his final assignment, Lopez served as the Chief of Staff of the US Army Recruiting Command.

When Lopez retired from the Army in May of 2021, he was awarded the Legion of Merit. During his career, he earned four Bronze Star Medals during his combat deployments.

Arrowhead Leadership Consulting was recognized as the Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year in 2023 by the Connecticut Small Business Association.
