Hosted by <a href="https://www.crestwoodbridge.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Crest Lincoln of </a><a href="https://www.crestwoodbridge.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Woodbridge</a>, 185 Amity Road, Woodbridge, the dealership is clearing all vehicles from its pristine parking lot to provide an easily accessible, safe venue to park your cars, explore, and get inspired by a marketplace of Amity Chamber businesses and organizations. With <a href="https://flytweed.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Tweed New Haven Airport (HVN)</a> and <a href="https://7brew.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee</a> as supporting sponsors, the stage is set for a day of innovation, energy, and fun.
Exhibiting companies ranging from physical fitness, chiropractors, free car washes, and crafts, to optometry, non-profit organizations, pickleball, tennis, Tex-Mex, and more, the fair offers something for all ages. Additionally, the Energize CT <a href="https://www.energizect.com/explore-solutions/education-smart-energy-living" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Smart Energy Living Mobile Exhibit</a> will offer interactive displays that demonstrate how energy-efficient and clean technology can enhance comfort, reduce energy use, and minimize environmental impact. The Xfinity Community Engagement Trailer will be front and center, equipped with technology, resources, and interactive experiences. The Xfinity trailer will also be open to the public on Sunday, August 16th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Registration is not required. "Employer Interviewing DOs and DON'Ts," a free legal breakfast workshop organized by the Amity Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Tuesday, August 18th at <a href="https://www.rivermereseniorliving.com/orange/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Rivermere Senior Living of Orange</a> (formerly Charter Senior Living of Orange), 197 Indian River Road, Orange. Doors open at 8:15 am, with the one-hour session starting promptly at 8:30 am. The workshop is part of the Chamber's "Breakfast &amp; Briefs" legal seminar series.
Presented by attorneys Courtney George, Jeremy A. Gustafson, and Maryanne D. MacIsaac<a href="https://www.zslawct.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"> of Zabel Schellenberg Attorneys at Law</a>, mock interviews will be followed by attendee participation to illustrate why understanding the dos and don'ts of interviewing job candidates is essential for employers to avoid potential legal risks and consequences. The session will cover employer interview responsibilities and preparation, adherence to federal and state employment laws, and anti-discrimination enforcement.

Long Island Sound

The 44th Annual WICC Surfside Hotel <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth</a> returns to Long Island Sound on Saturday, August 29, with fishing officially beginning at 12:01 a.m. Anglers from Connecticut and New York will compete for bragging rights—and a $25,000 grand prize awarded to the tournament's largest bluefish.
The weekend-long tournament features more than $40,000 in total cash prizes, including:
<ul>
 <li>1st Place: $25,000</li>
 <li>2nd Place: $7,500</li>
 <li>3rd Place: $2,500</li>
 <li>Smaller cash prizes awarded through 20th Place</li>
 <li>Port Prizes awarded for the heaviest bluefish weighed at each official Connecticut and New York weigh station (see below for complete list of weigh stations)</li>
</ul>
Young anglers, 17 and under, will also have the chance to win big. The tournament will award a $1,000 cash prize to the largest bluefish caught by a youth angler. Second and third place youth winners will receive $100 gift cards.
Anglers may register online at <a href="https://www.bluefishtournament.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">www.bluefishtournament.com</a>&nbsp;or in person at any official tournament registration location throughout Connecticut and New York/Long Island.

Throughout the tournament weekend, WICC, 99.1 PLR, STAR 99.9, and WEBE108 will provide hourly leaderboard updates and tournament results.
