• West Haven Man Arrested In Child Predator Sting Operation: North Haven Police (patch.com) — West Haven residents are learning that a 24-year-old man from their city was among three people arrested in a multi-agency undercover sting targeting online child sexual exploitation. North Haven police, working with state and federal partners, say the suspect faces multiple serious charges, including commercial sexual abuse of a minor and enticing a minor, and was held on a $300,000 bond after a firearm was seized.
   

• Two rescued from Connecticut apartment fire; firefighter injured, chief says (nhregister.com) — A West Haven firefighter was injured and two residents were rescued after a Sunday morning apartment fire on Main Street, which crews knocked down in about 10 minutes. Two apartments were damaged, the tenants are displaced with Red Cross assistance, and the fire marshal is investigating the cause.
