Burglar Had Distinct-Colored Backpack: West Haven Police

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect in a recent residential burglary.

Police say the man in the photo was involved in a residential burglary that occurred weeks earlier on Brown Street near Martin Street.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or a light-skinned black male last seen walking on Brown Street near Union Avenue.

“Look at the backpack it's a distinct color,” police said in a post on Facebook. “Anyone with information, please contact WHPD Detectives at 203-937-3912, or any of our tip or social media avenues. All info can be confidential. Please share.”
