Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is an early intervention, program that teaches adults how to support youth during a mental health challenge or crisis. This beneficial training will teach participants: how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health challenge; how to listen nonjudgmentally; how to give reassurance to a youth who may be experiencing a mental health challenge; and how to refer a person to appropriate professional support and services.
