Homeowner Interrupts Burglary, Takes Video of Fleeing Suspects: West Haven Police

Three suspects were attempting to burglarize the home at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect after a homeowner interrupted a residential burglary and took a video of the suspects as they were fleeing the scene.

Police responded to a burglary at a Spring Street residence at about 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22.

Police said three Hispanic males who were committing the burglary were interrupted by the home owner, who took a video of them leaving.

The suspects were operating a stolen green Honda Civic, according to police.

Police are looking to identify the man (pictured) who was operating the Honda.
