John was a state-certified carpenter in his early days. He was known to his buddies as “Fozzy” for his long list of jokes. He completed many jobs over the years, but one of his favorite projects was building the Stamford Train Station when he was employed for O&G.

John was a jack of all trades, and master of “one” (carpentry) as he always loved to say. He also enjoyed fishing with his family, which always had some fish tales to follow.

John was most proud of his family, and truly understood the importance of the small things in life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society or CT Hospice.
