The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Providing a quality education for all our students. Students learn at differing rates and we need to provide all the supports needed for their success.

The BOE is continually revising the curriculum to keep it updated and relevant.

We have hired coaches to instruct in small group settings and co teach with the classroom teachers.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I believe my experiences as a teacher and administrator give me a unique perspective in this position.

I have been involved with curriculum writing, budgets, etc.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

My strong conviction that the arts need to be an integral part of the curriculum. Kids need to learn to express themselves and the arts are a perfect vehicle.

Shop classes need to be available for all students. The pride student's show with a completed project is priceless.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My past 8 years on the board and my background as an educator are evidence.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

My passion is working with and for students. I am at home when in a school.

I love reading to students, attending plays, concerts, etc.
