West Haven Election 2016 Results: Big Night for Incumbents
Results for state senate and house races.

WEST HAVEN, CT — Incumbent Democratic State Sen. Gayle Slossberg won re-election to an eighth term in the 14th District with a victory over challenger Pat Libero.
In the 10th State Senate District, Democratic incumbent Gary Winfield ran unopposed and won another term.
In the 115th State House District, longtime Democratic incumbent Stephen Dargan won another term by defeating Republican Bart Chadderton by a 5,148 to 2,389 vote, according to unofficial results from the Secretary of State’s office.

In the 116th State House District, Democrat Michael DiMassa defeated Republican Richard DePalma.
State Rep. Charles Ferraro, a Republican, defeated Democratic West Haven Councilman Sean Ronan for a second-term in the 117th State House District.

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven residents will head to the polls on Nov. 8 for the 2016 midterm election. Polling places in West Haven will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the ballot, registered voters in West Haven will be able to select candidates for president and vice president, United States senator, representatives to U.S. Congress, state senator, state representative, and registrar of voters.
In the 10th State Senate District, Democratic incumbent Gary Winfield is running unopposed.
The choice for 14th Senatorial District involves Democratic candidate Gayle Slossberg and Republican candidate Pat Libero. Slossberg is a six-term incumbent. Pat Libero has been an educator for over 37 years, serving as a Special Education Teacher, Principal and Vice Principal in the West Haven school system.

In the 115th State House District, longtime Democratic incumbent Stephen Dargan is being challenged by Republican Bart Chadderton, a former mayoral candidate.
Democrat Michael DiMassa, who edged 12-term incumbent Louis P. Esposito Jr. in a primary election, faces Republican candidate Richard DePalma in the 116th State House District.
In the 117th State House District, the Republican candidate is Charles Ferraro and the Democratic candidate is Sean P. Ronan. Ferraro is serving his first term. Sean Ronan is currently serving as 9th District Councilman and Council Majority Leader for the City of West Haven.
Democrat Sherri Lepper and Republican Jo Ann Callegari are the candidates for registrar of voters.
For United States Congress the choice is between Democratic incumbent Rosa DeLauro and Angel Cadena, a Republican.
