WEST HAVEN, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in West Haven with plenty of races on the ballot.
Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 7 and cast their ballots for the position of mayor, along with seats on the City Council, Board of Education and more.

Do you have a family? If so, please tell us about them.
Proud father of twins Rachel and David Jr. Rachel works as a dispatcher for Nelson Ambulance Service and David Jr. works for East Shore Travel and is seeking reelection to West Haven's Board of Assessment.
Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No..just my son who I stated before is an elected official of West Haven

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
Public Service has been a passion of mine over half my life. We need decision makers that place the best interest and concerns of residents first and the residents of our city deserve only the best. My proven history as a city councilman is that of a person that places people above politics.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Public Safety has been an increasing concern to the entire city. Increase city revenue with true impacting economic development. Do whatever I can do to relieve the burden of the taxpayers. Elderly and our youth deserve only the best from our city and I will never stop making sure they receive nothing but the best.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
40 years of involvement in West Haven's youth program in leadership and mentor positions.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Always respect one another and be passionate on whatever you set your goals and sights on.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I will never disappoint them as their city council representative and their concerns and voices will be at the forefront.
