West Haven Senior Center Sets Essex Steam Train & Riverboat Trip

WEST HAVEN, CT — The West Haven Senior Center will offer a trip aboard the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat on Oct. 13.

The trip includes a one-hour ride aboard the steam train from Essex Station to Deep River Landing, followed by a one-hour ride aboard the Becky Thatcher riverboat on the Connecticut River.

The trip costs $119 and includes bus transportation, tickets and lunch at the Griswold Inn. Payment is due Sept. 9.

The bus will depart at 9:30 a.m. from a location to be announced and leave at 3:30 p.m. from Essex.
