2 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash On Route 107 In Reddng

REDDING, CT — Collisions between a school bus and a stop sign, and two vehicles on Route 107, topped the Redding Police blotter for March 4-10.
On March 6, a motorist driving southbound on Route 107 lost control while rounding a sharp curve at the intersection of Cross Highway, according to police. After crossing the center line, the driver struck a second vehicle rounding the curve northbound. The driver and a passenger in the second vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor and moderate injuries, police said. The driver of the first vehicle, a 31-year-old resident of 147th Street in New York City, was charged with traveling too fast, failure to drive right on a curve and driving without a license.
On March 7, a school bus struck a stop sign while making a left turn onto Rob Rider Road from Limekiln Road, knocking the sign down and causing minor damage to the bus. There were no injuries, according to police.
