C-SPAN Coming to Weston High School
Two Weston High School students will be recognized for their submissions to C-Span's StudentCam competition.

WESTON, CT — C-SPAN and Altice USA will be visiting Weston High School to honor winners of the network's annual student video competition, StudentCam.
A representative from the network will be at school to present a StudentCam certificate to winners Nathan Katz and Michael Bogaev, as well an oversized prize check of merit to Katz during a school-wide ceremony in front of classmates, teachers and family members. The winning videos will also be viewed during the event.
Katz won a $750 third prize for his video Corporate Hypocrisy: Mergers and Acquisitions. Bogaev takes home $250 for his Syrian Refugee Crisis video.

“Altice USA congratulates Michael Bogaev, and Nathan Katz on this achievement. The students that participated in this contest tackled issues that were important to them, their community and our nation," said Lee Schroeder, senior vice president, government and community affairs, Altice USA
Students were asked to create a 5-7 minute video documentary on the question: "Your Message to Washington: What is the most urgent issue for the new president and Congress to address in 2017?"

The Assembly will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on March 30 at Weston High School.
