Danbury Line Trains Delayed One Hour: UPDATE
Busses are helping passengers due to the delays and service interruptions.

REDDING, CT — Police in Redding are working to remove a large moving truck that got stuck on the tracks at around 12:45 p.m. Monday afternoon. The Metro North Railroad Twitter Account announced that trains are delayed up to one hour due to police activity in the Redding area. The News Times is reporting the delays are being caused by a truck that is stuck on the tracks at the Long Ridge Road area.
Danbury Branch Northbound Service is currently experiencing delays of up to 1 hour due to police activity in the vicinity of Redding.

The Metro-North Railroad account later announced that bus service is operating around 60 minutes late, and that riders should listen to announcement at their stations.
