Deadline Approaches for Navin Plea Deal

Navin is accused of murdering his parents. He learned that they planned to cut him off financially, according to police.

EASTON, CT — Thursday is the last day Kyle Navin will have to consider taking a plea deal in his murder case.

The deal terms aren't public, according to Fox 61.

Navin was accused of killing both his parents after they had planned to cut him off financially, according to court records. He was charged with two counts of murder and one count of murder under special circumstances. He has been in prison since being arrested Nov. 3, 2015.

His girlfriend Jennifer Valiante was also charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Jeffrey Navin, 56, and his wife Jeanette Navin, 55, mysteriously disappeared on Aug. 4, 2015 and their bodies were found at a vacant Weston property on Oct. 29, 2015. They had been shot to death.

Jeanette had $568,000 in assets at the time of her death and Jeffrey's assets were valued at $160,000.
