Drug Take-Back Program Operates Year-Round

Drop boxes are located in Redding and other local police departments.

The Town of Redding announced on their Facebook page that the town has a drug lock box available to all residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The drop box is located at the Redding Police Department, 96 Hill Road, in the lobby.

The box resembles a mailbox. Residents can drop prescription medications in the box and leave with no questions asked. Ridding the home of harmful or outdated prescriptions keeps homes and teens safe.
