Easton EMS Volunteer Stole Firearms, Took Patient Photos: PD

The man was also arrested by Massachusetts police after a large cache of guns and ammunition was found.

EASTON, CT — An Easton EMS volunteer was arrested after he took pictures of patients, stole firearms and pretended to be an Easton Police officer in an application to own a gun, according to police.

Christopher Barlow, 21, of Duxbury, Mass. was charged with two counts of stealing a firearm, two counts of voyeurism, illegal alteration of records and providing a false statement, according to Fox 61. He placed a hidden camera inside the bathroom of an EMS building and took photos of patients who were being transported, according to police.

He also stole two firearms from a co-worker, police said.

Barlow was arrested by Duxbury Police last year on charges of impersonation a police officer, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of an incendiary device. He impersonated a police officer and purchased several gun construction parts, according to Duxbury Police.

Police seized several weapons and ammunition after a search of his residence and vehicle. He also had multiple fake identification cards that indicated he worked for Homeland Security, the Coast Guard and Easton Police, Duxbury Police said.

Barlow was released on bond late February for the Duxbury case. The Plymouth County District Attorney warned nearby departments of his release.

Bail was set at $25,000 for his Connecticut case.
